Leadership captures the essentials of being able and prepared to inspire others. Effective leadership is based upon ideas – both original and borrowed – that are effectively communicated to others in a way that engages them enough to act as the leader wants them to act. DePouw Edwards is dedicated to applying their decades of combined experience to solving clients’ unique challenges.
Mr. DePouw is a licensed electrical engineer in Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, and Missouri. As principal of the firm he oversees an experienced staff of engineers and designers who specialize in various commercial and industrial lighting while also maintaining an active portfolio for his clients. Mr. DePouw is a graduate of the Michigan Technical University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. His career includes seven years with General Electric in industrial power systems and lighting design. He is a past officer of the Memphis Chapter of American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).
Mr. Edwards is a LEED accredited engineer, graduated with honors from The University of Tennessee with a B.S in Electrical Engineering. He is a registered Engineering-Intern in the state of Tennessee. He has experience in educational design providing services for all levels including secondary schools and universities. He is experienced in providing analysis for commercial and institutional interior and exterior lighting design with foot-candle analysis for local design review boards and owners. He is also the firm’s BIM and IT Manager. His senior capstone project providing motorized mobility for a disabled preschooler garnered national attention.
Mr. Little received a B. S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Memphis. Mr. Little is a registered electrical engineer in the state of Tennessee. His concentrated area of expertise is institutional and educational design providing services for all levels from secondary schools to universities. Mr. Little is qualified to provide System Planning/Analysis Surveys and System Short Circuit Analysis. He is a member of the Mid-South Electrical Industry Association (MSEIA).
As the firm’s production manager, Mr. Moore prepared the electrical design for the first LEED certified project; Independent Bank in Germantown, TN, in Shelby County. Jerry is a graduate of the University of Memphis. His experience is in facilities management planning for both the public and private sectors while providing review/quality control. He is experienced in providing analysis for commercial and institutional site lighting/landscape lighting design with foot-candle analysis for local design review boards and corporate client review. Mr. Moore’s expertise also includes sports lighting project design and contract management for park commissions, public and private educational facilities, and booster clubs. His work on sports facilities includes recreational, Little League, American Legion, collegiate and professional levels.
Toni’s Office Manager duties and responsibilities include greeting visitors, making office supply arrangements and providing general administrative support to our employees. Ms. Fisackerly ensures the smooth running of the office and helps to improve day-to-day operation by maintaining a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness and communication.
